Challenge
Allianz, a global leader in the insurance sector, is required to offer regulatory (by legal obligation) and periodic (several times a year) training. These sessions aim to update the skills of their internal employees as well as their network of distributors and external agents.
Thus, in the event of an audit or inspection, they need to demonstrate that their agents have the necessary qualifications and skills to advise clients.
In this context, it was essential to provide proof of attendance at these trainings. Consequently, monitoring participation was required.
Solution
Our project with Allianz was structured in two phases:
- Pre-COVID: In-person training sessions were held in classrooms at Allianz's national headquarters in France for their network of distributors.
- During COVID: The same training sessions were delivered remotely via virtual classrooms, with signature requests sent by email. Subsequently, these sessions were extended to internal employees.
The necessary integration and connectivity were achieved with Allianz’s internal ERP, which manages their training programs.
The connector between SoWeSign and this ERP was developed using SoWeSign’s external and open APIs, which we provide to our clients.
With our APIs being fully documented, SoWeSign can connect to any type of information system (ERP, LMS, TMS, HRIS) as well as specific ERPs for certain clients.
Our APIs enable bidirectional data exchange. On one hand, they retrieve training schedules and data for trainers and students. On the other hand, they return updated attendance information for each training session, thus avoiding manual data entry after each session.
Moreover, depending on the client's requirements and needs, we can perform periodic (one to two times a day) or real-time data exchanges between the two systems.
